This is the 1998 Porsche GT1 Racing car, updated to the final build. Parameters are still the same as the old ones.

I built it using screenshots from NFS Porsche Unleashed. This paint job is the same scheme I use when I race online at the EA servers. 

------About the model------

This mesh was created entirely in 3dsMaxR3.1, and rebuilt in 3dsMax4.2. I have added a very basic interior, and transparent light covers. 

The LOD has been removed from this model. This body has 1033 polygons total.

These are the same wheels I used on the Pronto Cruiser, but they were resized and remapped a slight bit. I liked the way they looked, and it saves me having to make new ones. (Lazy me, tsk...)

------Tools used------

3dsMax R3.1 ,3dsMax R4.2

Ase2Prm.exe from Ali and Antimorph. This outstanding tool allows the use of vertex shading and smoothing groups, which has been applied to this car.

Poly reduction from the original model was done with MultiRes. This plugin is built into 3dsMax R4.2

Adobe Photoshop 4.1
All car painting was done within Photoshop. 

------Copyright issues------

I personally encourage repainting and retuning of my cars. I have no problem with this.

I dont want the mesh imported and changed without my permission though. Please be considerate and dont rip off the mesh from the original authors.

If you want to port this car, or any other, into a different game, just ask.
